The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is a front-wheel-drive car powered by a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine rated at 153 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, which is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 1.6-liter turbo-diesel option is also available with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The 2019 Cruze boasts impressive fuel economy, meaning you can enjoy your commutes just a little bit more knowing that you’ll spend more time at your destination instead of filling up at the pump. The sedan gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. The hatchback gets 28 mpg in the city and 38 on the highway (37 for the Premier trim).*

Standard equipment highlights on all Cruze LS models include 15-inch steel wheels, air-conditioning, Bluetooth®, a four-speaker audio system, and OnStar® with 4G LTE connectivity and WiFi hotspot. LS models also come with a rearview camera and Chevrolet’s infotainment system with a 7-inch central touchscreen. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are also standard.

The Cruze Premier gets those features as standard plus 17-inch wheels, an upgraded rear suspension, illuminated vanity mirrors, a heated steering wheel, LED-accented taillamps, 8-way power driver seat, and keyless entry. Premier models (as well as LT models) are eligible for an RS Appearance package that adds a number of sporty and performance-inspired features (18-inch wheels, fog lights, rear spoiler, sport body kit) and the Driver Confidence Package which includes safety tech features like Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Design
The 2019 Chevrolet Cruze is one good-looking car, whether you’re looking at the sedan or the hatchback. But don’t think for a minute that its aggressive styling is just for show.
