That’s why we love events like the 51^st Annual Go Texan Parade and Stampede happening Saturday, February 20!

This fun event features a 5K Run/Walk (or “stampede”) that will start at 9:30am at Heritage Place Park in Conroe. Tickets are $30. Remember to sign up before February 15 when registration ends. The theme is School Bells and Rodeo Trails, so don’t be shy when putting on your best themed running gear.

The Go Texan Parade in downtown Conroe will follow the morning stampede/race. This event is fun for the whole family, with trail riders, horse groups, commercial floats and local youth groups all making appearances.The parade takes place from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, so arrive there early to get a good view. The parade is sponsored by the Conroe/Willis/The Woodlands Metro Go-Texan Committee of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo™ and will help provide scholarships for young people in the area.
