That’s why we’re so excited to announce that Ford and Michelin are officially partnering to create all-new options for Ford Performance vehicles. Michelin will be providing custom tire fitments for the Ford Performance racing lineup, including:
- Ford GT
- Shelby® GT350
- Shelby GT350R Mustang
- Fiesta ST
- Focus ST and RS
- F-150 Raptor
To create tires truly worthy of each Ford vehicle, though, Michelin engineers will be collaborating with Ford from vehicle inception. The result is tries that excel across the performance board, from lateral grip durability and more.
“We have a long relationship with Michelin, and could not ask for a better teammate to help extract maximum capability from our vehicles,” said Dave Pericak, director, Ford Performance. “That confidence extends from our upcoming racing effort at Le Mans in 2016 with the all-new Ford GT, to the Ford Performance vehicle lineup, including Shelby GT350 and F-150 Raptor.”
Michelin will also be contributing standard and optional tires for Ford Performance production vehicles. The all-new Ford GT will be offered with Michelin Pilot® Sport Cup 2 tires, while the 2017 F-150 Raptor will be elegantly attired with BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A KO2 models.
