The 2016 Ram 1500 leads its class for fuel economy, earning 29 MPG highway with its available 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine.* Paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, the 1500 produces 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, enough to tow up to 9,200 pounds. The standard engine is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, and the base model starts at a very reasonable $24,970 MSRP.**
