The standard 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar® engine produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, so you'll never worry if your Jeep has the power to make the journey. If you’re looking for a little less power and a little more fuel efficiency, the automaker also offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Capable of up to 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, you’ll still get respectable power, but with a more fuel-efficient setup. When paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this engine is capable of an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.*

Three different 4x4 systems are available on the 2020 Jeep Wrangler: Selec-Trac®, Command-Trac®, and Rock-Trac®. The Selec-Trac 4x4 System will shift from two-wheel-drive to four-wheel-drive automatically when the system senses that it is necessary, to ensure you always have the right amount of grip, whether you’re facing rocky mountain trails or sandy beaches. The Command-Trac 4x4 System is ready when you need it. Just engage the system and prepare to effortlessly best any obstacle. Thanks to its outstanding ground clearance, the Jeep Wrangler’s underbody is out of reach from trail debris, and skid plates offer even more protection. Water-resistance is built into the Wrangler with sealed electronic components and an air intake that's mounted high enough to allow the Jeep to cross small creeks or streams without concern.
