Come and get into the spirit of Christmas as you watch and enjoy a Christmas parade with lights and decorated floats. A fun event for the entire family located in downtown Willmar!
2) Turkey Leg 5K, YMCA, Willmar
This is the last race of the season for the Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series and it has grown in popularity with runners and their families the past few years, after all what better way to start out the day than with a family run and calorie burn in preparation for the holiday feast.
3) Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra
The Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra on stage is a community orchestra located in Willmar, Minnesota and includes musicians from Willmar and surrounding towns.
Come to New London for their Candle Light Christmas! Bake & Lefse Sale in Lake Region Bank lobby, Bonfire w/hot cider 6-8pm near Fire Hall, sleigh rides, caroling, treats for kids, stores open late, accepting Toys for Tots donations, more!
5) 12th Annual Polar Bear Plunge
The Polar Bear Plunge — presented by Minnesota law enforcement as part of the year-round Law Enforcement Torch Run® events to benefit Special Olympics — is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics athletes by jumping into frigid Minnesota waters.
