With Halloween coming up, there’s no shortage of events going on in our community. For those of you with little ones, you may be wondering where to go for a night of spooky but safe fun. Cutter Automotive Galleries is here to help with a list of five family-friendly Halloween events coming up in Honolulu.
1. Keiki Costume Contest in the Royal Grove
Sunday, October 25
Keiki from infancy to 10 years old will have a blast at this costume contest. See if you can come up with a clever idea to win “Best Parent and Child Costume.” Participating stores will also offer trick-or-treating during the night so you can enjoy plenty of goodies afterwards.
2. Fright Night at Kapolei Public Library
Tuesday, October 27
The Kapolei Public Library will hold its annual Halloween extravaganza, featuring a costume contest for family and children, balloon twists, and a variety of other goodies.

3. Kahala Mall Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treating
Friday, October 30 & Saturday, October 31
The Kahala Mall will be hosting a special two-night event. It all starts with a Costume Contest on October 30. There will be awards for age groups from under 1 year to grade 6, plus an award for the best themed Family Group costumes. Bring the kids back the next night for mall-wide trick-or-treating and live entertainment for the parents.

4. Refresh Ministries Trick or Treat Halloween Event
Saturday, October 31
Refresh Ministries always throws an awesome family-friendly Halloween event, and this year should be no exception. They’ll be decorating a parking lot full of cars in different themes and will have different Halloween characters handing out candy. The event also features a carnival and photo booth for making lasting memories.

5. Trick-or-Treat Street at Ward Village Shops
Saturday, October 31
Enjoy trick-or-treating with your keiki at this fangtastic event. There will be coupons and stickers available as well as a Halloween photo booth at MORI by Art + Flea.
